  1. Ms Mary;

    The cruise lines will set this up for you. Check out their sites. A friend did this summer and not only made anew friend but, also had the time of her life. Even if you do not hit it off there are plenty of friendly people aboard to spend your time and share your interests. Good Luck.

  2. time for you to have real friends

  3. Actually this isn't done by agents all the time in fact I have never heard of this.  There isn't a demand for this to be done. For Europe tours several companies however have a single supplement room where you can opt for a roommate to lower the cost.  This is determent on if another also wants a roomie of course.  Good Luck!

  4. Call your travel agent..they do this all the time..but be careful..meet the person they pair you up with FIRST if possible. Good luck

  5. Most cruise lines have a Single Partner Program where they will find another traveler of the same s*x and approx age to travel with you.

  6. cruiselines have cut down on single shares tremendously in the last few years, probably over a fear of a potential lawsuit if your cruiseline appointed roommate pushed you overboard or something.  i think some of them still offer this service but i couldn't tell you which lines for sure.  you'd have to call around.  my sister is 35 and finds roommates on cruiseline message boards.  try cruisecheap.com or cruise-chat.com.  of course a certain degree of risk goes with something like that...  i personally have been on several cruises with family members and had a blast.
