  1. Impossible. There is no such thing.

  2. You can't. If they were not in it for themselves, they would be in another profession.

  3. If you have a case involving some kind of principle like First Amendment rights or civil rights, or something like that, contact the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), or a similar group. You can call the local Bar Association to find out how to contact them.  If you have a "regular" case involving money or such -- well attorneys are in business to make money.

  4. That's the luck of the draw. All are in it for money, it's a profession. People differ though and through sheer luck you may find one with scruples.

  5. How do you find a good plumber that is not in it for themselves?  Or electrician?  Or truck driver?  Or orthodontist?  Of course they are in it for themselves.  That is how they make a living.  If you find a lawyer that is concerned only with serving mankind, or only the client (and those are quite different) without any desire to be support his own family, you will find him on skid row and he won't be able to help you because he doesn't have the money to buy a pencil, let alone practice law.

  6. You can't

  7. Lawyers are no differnet than any other profession. They are in the foeld to make money as expeditiously as possible. And like all professions, there are honest lawyers and dishonest lawyers. Since the penalty for dishonesty for an attorney is onerous (loss of his/her ability to practice law if found to act unprofessionally or fraudulently), your chances are pretty good of finding a professional.

the best way tp determine which attorney to choose is the same as any other service. Ask friends and relatives for recommendations, interview a prospective attorney, ask what experiences they have in relation to your type of need, check with the bar association to make sure they have no history.

  8. honestly, you can not....they all suck.  Law school 101...lie.

if you have a brain, you can do it for yourself. good luck.

  9. Try www.avvo.com  (That is two v's and not one w)

  10. He is the one sitting between the tooth fairy and santa clause!
