  1. under the sand i think

  2. A land hermit crab, or marine hermit crab? Either way, I would not suggest doing this. It is very dangerous for the crab, and they will most likely die from stress. If you do not completely mimic their surroundings, they will be out of place and die.

  3. under the sand if your paysents if not pay someone $5 to find one for u=)

  4. Well if your catching them, I hope you don't keep them as they will most likely die.

For marine hermit crabs look in shallow water along the beach at the shore and check under the shells for a crab.

For land hermit crabs, look all over. They're nocturnal, so they sleep during the day. Check under rocks, pieces of bark, decks, fallen leaves etc. Go at night and look in trees or on logs and stuff. They love to climb.

  5. you usually find hermit crabs on the beach in low tide in the shallow water.

  6. Go near the water and look under every shell.

  7. Well if you see a shell moving and it's a hermit crab then I gues you would have found one.If not the beach then Petco

  8. Tidal pools are the best places to look.  Just watch the snail shell, or pick them up and check.  Many of them will have small crabs inside.

  9. they  are in the water in the tide pools u might find them when u got to the sand- bar.- i know i went to florda.
