How do you find a primary and secondary DNS on a windows computer?

  1. Right mouse click on the network icon in the system tray

    Select Status

    Select the support tab on the pop-up

    Select Details

    The DNS servers will be shown there


  2. Go to your command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd, or if you have vista just type "cmd" into the search bar at the bottom of your start menu.) then type "ipconfig /all"

    The IPs for all of your DNS servers should be displayed.
