How do you find actors for your film?

Hi There!

I am wanting to create a movie of my own. This is generally my first big project, and I don't exactly know enough actors myself. How would I go about finding actors that I don't know?

Is there a website for this type of thing? Is there a column that usually appears in a news paper that I'm missing? Is there some type of place I would want to go?

Any suggestions would be awesome, thanks alot!

Well I would be happy to be in your movie if It is near me. Feel free to contact me by clicking on my name and press the email link. Also you can probably hold open auditions in your comunity make a flyer and post it somewhere or an add for the newspaper
