I am trying to compare Shutterfly Inc. to the Nasdaq Composite index. I can't find the info on it to come up with any ratios. I am looking at P/B, Dividend yield, EVA, TEV, PEG ratio, P/E, EBITDA, WACC, CAPM, ect.

  1. I dont' know if you can compare stock with index. For stock you can search the ratio, at yahoo, or other financial website

  2. OK...One is a company, and one is an index...so, while you might be able to find EBITDA (which is not a ratio) for Shutterfly, you will not be able to find it for Nasdaq. An index wouldn't have earnings as a company would. WACC and CAPM are pricing models - they are totally irrelevant and non-applicable. Nasdaq wouldn't have a P/E either. That is Price/Earnings....same as PEG.  You are trying to compare two totally uncomparable things. This is why you can't comeup with any info. The Nasdaq is where the other stocks trade. It is not a stock in and of itself.
