If you have experience or are a mother, how do you find it caring for children of these two different age groups together. I am a mother to a three year old who will be four in August. I want to start caring for one or two more children. I love children and am going to school to be a teacher, and I want to make sure both and all children, that I can, receive the good care they deserve. If I care for an child around 10 months, and I have my son, do you think I will be able to attentively give them each the individual care they need on a good basis. Thanks so much for your input, I appreciate it. Thanks!

  1. This sounds like an ideal situation for all involved.  When I had to return to work my son went to day care with a 6 year old and a 4 year old.  The day care provider said that it was wonderful.  My son was always happy when I came to visit and when I picked him up.  The really neat part was how cool it was for the 4 year old.  The provider told me that he was an INCREDIBLE helper.  When she would change a diaper the 4 year old would not allow it until he got the diaper, wipes and diaper cream.  To this day whenever the two of them are together (my son is almost 13 months now) they are best buddies.  I am sure that this can go as well for you as it did for us.  Good Luck.
