How do you find local casting calls for movies without paing fot it? (lagit please)?

If you live in a large city, there should be a show business related newspaper.  Ask your acting teacher or other actors.

The best one I found was backstage.com.  They're legit and have thousands and thousands of casting calls (you can break it down by a specific area)...I've landed a couple of jobs through them so def worth checking out.
