  1. or, you could just try to be more customer oriented in the future..........

  2. You might just ask your manager.  Say, "I am concerned about the complaint against me.  Do you think there is anything to it?  How do YOU think I'm doing at work?"

DON'T say this to your manager, but people complain about stupid things.

Go to YouTube and listen to the 911 call where a woman called because Burger King would not make her burger right.  Turns out she was even asking for something made by another fast food place.  The police were VERY annoyed, but the point is, some people are crazy.

On the other hand, if you did something wrong, like close ten minutes early, that can lose customers, get your manager in trouble, get the owner in trouble with the franchise, etc.

If you got THAT kind of complaint, what you do is apologize, say you made a mistake, and ask your manager to bring things like that to your attention right away.

You should not have to do on line research to find out why someone complained about you at work.  That's what managers are for.  If you have one who won't communicate with you, look for another job.

You deserve to be treated with respect, and it is not respectful for a manager to tell you about  a complaint without discussing it with you.

  3. Call 311(only if you live in the United States), They would let you know.
