How do you find out if someone has been connecting to your computer and spying on you.?

I am sure someone has been for a couple years now. The person is very knowledgable about commputers and know allot more about my life than he should.

A spyware or Virus program should be able to pick up those sort of things.

But if it serious, go to the police.

It's likely too late to tell now. A simple trojan virus is enough to pull anything off your computer.

If you're confident that your machine's security has been compromised then I would reformat and reinstall Windows (since it will reset everything to default permissions and wipe the hard drive) instead of searching for the red herring.
