(You ought to go to a lawyer, and through the lawyer take steps to comply with the judgment.) And if there isn't a warrant, perhaps it's only a matter of time. You'll still have to be living looking over your shoulder constantly.

    Take care of the issue, whether or not there's a warrant out.


  2. You can go to your local court house and do a background check on anyone (court proceedings are public information). You don't have to tell them the person you're doing the background check on is yourself.

    The bigger question is why not pay the judgement? They're going to get their pound of flesh eventually anyway.
