How do you find out if your home phone is tapped without spending a fortune!! Thanks.

you cant...

if it is an illegal tap you should just inspect all of your inside wiring, and the network interface box on the side of your house for any strange connections or devices, or any wires that should not be connected...

if it is a fed tap you will never know.. and no spy shop stuff will work, as everything is done digitally in the central office... the only way to know about this kind of tap is when it is too late when the recordings are being used as evidence against you  in court...
