  1. Download SiSoft Sandra. That should give you the info you are after.

  2. Read it... or you can ask it

  3. go to www.crucial.com or www.crucial.com/uk and use the scan my computer tool.  It will scan and tell you about suitable upgrades but it also tells you about your motherboard number (top of page after scan) which if you are looking to upgrade anything is the most helpful model number

  4. look on the box that  it came

  5. 1 start menu >all prorams

    2 accessories

    3 system tools

    4 system information

  6. Most computers have the company name and model on the front of the case.  However, if you had your computer made for you in a private store, then it doesn't have a company name, nor would it have a model number.  However, you can find out the names and other relevant information about the hardware inside the computer case by clicking on start, then right click on My Computer, left click on Properties.  Then click on the Hardware tab, followed by a left click on Device Manager.  You will then see a list of all your hardware with a plus sign next to each one.  If you click on the plus sign, it will expand the listing for the particular piece of hardware you clicked on and give you the information about the kind and type of hardware, including the manufacturer.

    I hope this helps...

  7. if you have vista installed

You should also find the make and model of you pc on a label at the rear of the pc.

if its a home made computer or privately built it may not have a make and model  number

  8. You can find a lot of information about your computer in the properties.

Right click "My Computer" and click on Properties.  Browse through the tabs.

  9. My HP has a tag right on the front of it.

  10. usually there is a sticker on the side of your computer telling you all details.

  11. Well, First you go to start:

    Then to All Programs:

    Then to Accessories:

    Then to System Tools:

Then there should be an icon saying 'System Information' (The icon has a computer with a white letter 'i' in a blue circle)

There you can find all the information, such as the processor, name of graphics card, disk space and other info.

I hope this helps you a lot.
