  1. The title can be found in the source code. Scroll to the top left hand of your browser, choose view and then source. You will be given the source code of the page and look for the description tag.

The IP address is a unique number given to a computer or server usually 23.765.4756 or something to that effect. Each section of the id represents a country, etc. The URL is unique to a website like an IP is unique to a computer.

  2. When you are browsing any site, whatever gets displayed on 'your browser application window's title' is the title of the site or page your are browing.

(the browser application window title will show 'current page title' and ' - browser app name'

browswer app name = Intenet Explorer, Firefox etc

  3. not sure i understand your question ... the title of a web site is generally displayed at the top of the browser window ... this is the text from the TITLE tag (within the HTML code) that is displayed ... it is usually written as such:

<TITLE>This is the title of my web site.</TITLE>

    hope this helps

    serge

ps note that the title may change depending on the web page you are viewing within a web site ... a home page may have a different title to its FAQ page, for example

  4. Are you looking for the title or the address?

The address (the URL) is the line in your browser's address bar that usually starts with http or www.

The "title" is the words that the person who made the site has chosen to show up in the title bar, which is usually at the very top of your browser window.

I don't know if this works in IE or not, but if you're using Firefox as your browser, you can just right-click on a page and then select "View Page Info". You'll see the title at the very top of the window that opens up, and you'll see the URL on the line below that, where it says "address".
