How do you find out what kind of bug i have? what are the best websites?

i have a black and white stripped bug with really weired looking antenaaes that looks more like a zebra/bbettle and i found it on the outside of my house and would like to know what it is.

Sounds a bit like a boring beetle. Not boring, as in dull, but boring as in wood or plant tunneling. If it is quite long it may be a  Banded Laurel Borer - Rosalia spp.
