well for one thing you could get a really good fitting pair you have see what brand it is and go online, go on that website for that store and go into sizing charts , look at what size your pants are that u have at home and see what size that is on the sizing chart then go to inseams

and see the size

Measure a pair of pants/shorts you already have.  Take into consideration that they may have shrunk just a bit, so I would add an inch.

Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the 'inside' seam.

To measure your inseam, stand up straight with legs slightly apart. Using measuring tape, measure from just below the crotch to the bottom of the ankle. Record the length in inches; this is your inseam.
