How do you find someone online but without charge?

I've been looking fo my father i know what state he lives in and his first and last name but everythig has to have a credit card

  1. Not everything.  This can give you a jump start: http://www.whowhere.com/

    If you know what city he may be in, you can get information from you local public library main branch.  Most have crossreference directories for many American cities: R.L. Polk, Bressers, Johnsons, etc.  these directories list people by name, address, telephone number, and can contain info such as employment.  Some of the information may not exist anywhere else you can get because much of it is supplied by the individual by various means.  And, it's free!

    If you have to rely on the paid sights and the credit card is your roadblock, get a prepaid Green Spot card in Visa or MC.  They work on line the same as a regular card.

  2. You can search the free "public record" websites that you can find.

    But anything that isn't public record, has to be charged for - because the company has to research it and that's what they want you to pay them for - their service and efforts in doing so.
