How do you find someone you've lost contact with?

i had a teacher in high school that was really inspirational to me. i was one of those "bad kids" that ditched school, hooked up with boys, did all the things your parents don't want you to do, basically. anyway this teacher was always there, pushing me and encouraging me. i know for a fact that if it hadn't been for her, i would have never finished school or made it to where i am today.

i went back to my old high school to look for her, and was bummed to discover she'd moved out of state. does anyone know a way that i could potentially look her up? i just want to talk to her and let her know how much she helped me out. any suggestions are appreciated. thank you!

  1. idk but check my question!!!

is this some sick joke played by the government or a group of psychos trying to scare people

  2. get to a really high point (top of mountain or building)..and THEN look around.  it will help u see more people.. maybe she's in the crowd

  3. Well if you know her name, and maybe the state she moved too, then try looking on Whitepages.com

or even just put her name on Google maybe.

Try the Department of Education even!

    Good luck!

  4. YES! Zaba Search is an awesome tool for this.  It uses all sorts of public records for this.

  5. Look her up in a phone book, or explain to the school your situation and see if they know anything.  Ask some of the teachers who are still there if they know any information on her whereabouts.  OR, try MySpace/Facebook or www.zabbasearch.com

  6. The absolute best way to find people is through www.ussearch.com.  If you know her name, her approximate age, and the state she moved to, you can find her.  You may have to pay a fee to get the full contact information, but you can do a free search first to find out if it is worth your while.  Good luck!

  7. Magic 8 ball of course..

Seriously, no, other than extensive and monotonous searching online i have no idea. I do wish you luck though and want  to ask you to keep searching until you find her. I have regretted not thanking teachers many times. My Uncle was a teacher, so, i also know how much a simple heartfelt compliment can mean to them...,good luck.

  8. try searching her on the internet, yellow pages, whitepages.com, ask the school if they know where she's moved to. idk but good luck!

  9. uh...see if she has a facebook?

I dunno, some of my teachers do.

  10. find out what state and city she lives in now and look her up in the phone book

  11. check on facebook or www.192.com

  12. You can always try Classmates. Start with some of the students that were in your graduating class and work your way up until some students can recall her leaving and any places she could have gone.

  13. try looking her up on myspace

  14. facebook

  15. www.facebook.com - loook for her/ his name

    http://www.myoldmate.net/

    www.myspace.com

    www.hi5.com

typ google and search "look for old friends" and look for a link

    you have loads of options

  16. zabasearch.com & use that info with whitepages.com also try reverse look ups on white pages

  17. try zabba search

  18. If you know her name, get a restraining order put up against her. Its cruel but the police will tell you where she stays. Dont hurt her when you find her.

Sounded a bit strange this story...

  19. i would ask the school if they could give you any sort of forwarding information or if they know where she is working now.  you could also do a census look up.  a generic search on the internet could work, but you have probably tried that already.
