How do you find the line normal to this plane?! please?

hey guys, realllllly desperate for help on this question

i need to know the line normal to the plane;

z = -0.7071x +2.3731 at (3pi/4, 0)

cos i need to draw it with that plane on a 3d plot on matlab.

please help. thanks

  1. you have

    0.7071x + z = 2.3731

    the normal vector of the plane is

    [0.7071, 0 , 1]

    if x =  3π/4 = 2.356 , then z = 0.7071

    thus the line is

    (x - 2.356)/0.7071 = (z - 0.7071)/1 ; y = 0

    .. . .

    the above is called the symmetric equations of the line.
