  1. c = 2pi x r  Divide both sides by 2pi and multiply by c

    r = c / 2pi

    r = 24 / (2 x 3.1416)

    r = 24 / 6.2832

    r = 3.8197

  2. The radius is half the circumference, so divide it in half. The radius of that circle would be 12.

  3. the formula for the circumfernce is 2(PI)r so do this:

    2(PI)r=24

    then divide bothe sides by 2

    (Pi)r=12

    Then divide both sides by Pi

    r=3.82

  4. pi * diameter = 24 <-- circumference formula. find diameter?

    diameter = 24/ pi <-- solve for diameter

    (24/ pi)/ 2=?           <-- basically dividing the diamerter by two

                                   because it will give u the radius

    ?= radius

    ]

    ** plug it in ur calculator

  5. Circumference =2 times pi times r, so divide circumference by 2 pi. in this example, 24 divided by 2(3.1416)
