How do you finger a c flat on a flute?

I am doing the c flat scale, and there is a c flat and i have never seen it before, so i looked in my book and it doesnt show there is a c flat. SO i am freaking out because i dont know the fingering

  1. i dont think a c flat technically exists

    but its the same as a b natural


  2. C flat is enharmonic to b natural.  The C flat scale is going to SOUND just like a B scale.  However, there are VERY important theoretical reasons I that you probably do not care about NOW, but someday you will NEED to care about) that will make the existnece of the C flatg scale  important.
