Question:

How do you finish off the edges on a potholder made with the classic cotton loop kids weaving loom?

  1. Did you figure this out?  I haven't felt this dumb in along time.  can't seem to finish the edges.


  2. yep, it is easier with a G crochet hook to pick a couple of loops off their pegs and bring the back one through the next one and pick another off its peg. last one gets to go through the previous loop again.

    That is the way I started weaving and now am up to 8-harness weaving! More fun!!

  3. You start at one corner and take off a loop from its peg.

    Then take off the next loop and put it through the center of the first one.  Keep going around the loom.  

    At the end you have one "open" loop which you knot.  This becomes the hanger for the potholder.
