How do you fish in twilight princess?

I'm at the reekfish part, and I have the earring and all that...But I don't know how to catch them. When I fished the first time, it was just a fluke.

Are there any helpful guides out there that go in depth? Every single one I found doesn't help me much.

Just try again. And make sure you're close to the Mother and Chilkd rocks in Zora's domain.
