Question:

How do you fix a Mod Podge mistake? I used maps & paper & have lots of air bubbles on my coffe table.

It was my first time working with that stuff. It was a bigger project than I thought. It is not terrible, but not smooth either.

  1. I'm afraid that you have taken the rosin to pour on the table and possibly stirred it up instead of shaking before application..Hopefully the bubbles are not within the inside and on the surface..if it is on the surface only sand with a 220 grit sandpaper and dust off or use tack cloth to get all dust residue off ..then SHAKE IT DO NOT STIR TO GET THE MIX PROPER..any remaining rosin and recoat thinly..

For bubbles in wall paper you stick a pin in it - seriously, this might work for you, though I think the stuff you are talking about goes over the top rather than underneath the paper so that may be harder to fix, anyway, see if you can then smooth it out with a clothe, not a flat squeegie thing that can drag on stuff and cause big lines, use a clothe. Hope that helps.
