How do you fix a Phillips dvd player that changes from color to black&white while it plays a dvd?

My Phillips MX3660D dvd player used to work fine but now while watching a dvd, the tv flips back and forth from color to black and white, sometimes constantly, sometimes just occasionally but, if you rewind it and play it again, it always changes at the same places in the movie. The TV works fine otherwise, even using the same component jacks for other devices. I've changed the cables but that didn't change anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check the video sytems setting if it matched with the TV. The PAL, SECAM, NTSC thing.
