How do you fix a broken zip?

One of my handbags' zips has broken. It is still connected one side but has come off the other side.

Is there anyway to fix it myself?

turn the bag inside out so you can see the underside of the zipper.

take the zipper to the beginning, the is a small plastic stop that stops the zipper from going any farther. cut the stop off, take the zipper off and try to put it back together, just like you would be zippering up a jacket.
