  1. Though most people don't know it, electronics that have come in contact with water are often repairable, assuming you are comfortable taking them apart. Your camera may be possible to fix. However, your chances of getting it to work again are probably lower than that of other electronic devices, as the camera contains mechanical parts (the shutter and zoom).

First, DO NOT turn the camera on. Remove the batteries. You will then need to disassemble the camera and let the parts dry out. Let it sit and dry for a few days. Here's a good guide I found on how to fix a cell phone that has been dropped in water. The advice given is just as applicable to your situation.

    Good luck!

  2. im sure there are plenty more ways but heres a few...take the

photo thingy out that hold the pics and take the batteries out

and let them dry on a towel.  then take the camera and very

gently take it and cleam ouy the inside parts that you can

reach. The other thing to do is take a blow dryer and set it on

cool and then just blow it dry. Those are just some ways but

there are more... thats what i did when i dropped my camera

    in my cereal.  <333   Good Luck!!!!   ; - )

  3. Take the battery out immediatley adn let try in a dry warm spot. Dry it out for abouta  week. You have about a .0999 point chance of it working again. It depends on how much moiture entered inside the camera. Most likely in most conditions its irreplacable. And there absolutly no warranty on water damage. And the shops can tell cause theres moisture behind the screen and the battery contacts are corroded and ruined. Sorry. But if it wasn't too badley damaged, the memory card , DRIED OUT in a dry place might still be readable.
