  1. Binxtaroo was correct in that it is probably the regulator.  The door panel has to come off so you can get to the guts of the door.

  2. sounds like you might need to take it to a mechanic.

you prabably need a new window regulator.  buy the workshop manual or get help would be my advise.  if you have no idea where to begin i don't think you can be helped on yahoo answers.

WHOEVER GAVE ME THUMBS DOWN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??????

  3. befor you can be told how to fix it you have to see what is broken. you have to remove the door panel to inspect the regulator. the only way to get the panel off is to have a special tool to remove the window crank. if you dont have that you would be better off taking it to the shop.

  4. Depends what the problem is and what's causing it. Givin that except for the electric motor, most windows operate on a track / gear idea. I had a drivers side window get separated from the track once. I took it to a body shop, and they fixed it , for only $35. They took the door panel off , got in there and used some epoxy type adhesive to secure the window back in the track. No problems since. I feel it was money well spent , cause taking the door panels off is a huge hassle!
