  1. What I found on a 1999 SL2 was that there are four drain holes, one at each corner. I poured water down each corner and looked for were they drained. The front ones drain behind the front wheels below the front fender. The back ones behind the rear wheel wells at the front of the tires. In my case it looked like the front drivers side was leaking under the dash. I found that the water was going down the trim panel but the leak was really at the from corner of the SR. The roof panel is held by velcro so I unscrewed the visor and was able to get my hand to where the drain hole was. Found that the hose was disconnected from the drain hole. If all the drain hoses are connected and you still get backed up water its hard to blow out the drains without a good slim pointed air tip and risk disconnecting the hose from the air presure, try a cutter line from a grass trimmer to unblock it.
