Question:

How do you fix a skateboard bearing shield?

it'll pop back in but when i skate it pops right back out

  1. the part missing the sheild should be facing the inside of the wheel it will still work without the sheild. It happened to my bearing too when i was trying to take them out of my old wheelz and put it in my new ones


  2. don't do anything. i just rip the shield out and it turns out to be my fastest bearing.unless your some g*y neat freak. you can like get new ones or something

  3. You cant. You just have to buy a new one. You can get some bones reds for like $20.

What you should do until you get new bearings, is take that bearing out, clean it out, but dont put lube in it.  Most lube attracts dirt and dust, and you dont want this before getting another bearing with a shield.  After cleaning it up, face the shieldless side toward the inside of the wheel, this will take care of some dirt and stuff, but you do want to get a new bearing as soon as possible.  Good Luck.
