How do you fix a space between the wall and floor?

I just moved into my apartment 2 weeks ago i noticed after the fact that theres spaces all around the apartment between the wall and floor it ranges between 1-3 cm (guessing) I would like to fix this. what do i need to fix this?

also i do not want to go to the landlord to fix this cause i just wanna get it done

  1. Here is your best answer, buy a cualk gun and some silicone and silicone around the perimeter of the room good luck


  2. If the appearance is what bothers you, you could install molding, either cheap quarter-round or something nicer. You'd probably have to leave it behind when you move away, since it will leave nail-holes.

  3. sounds like they did not install baseboard and shoe moulding (if is a hard surface floor). this is something for your landlord to do.

  4. You can buy lengths of skirting and stick it on with no more nails. It is a bit of a nuisance though to do the corners.
