Um my dunlop aerogel 200 recently had a squeaky noise on the handle whenever i hit a ball with it so i took off the replacement grip and was surprised by this small crack in the handle. What can i do to fix this in order to eliminate the squeaky noise. I've tried to wrap it around with tape but it doesn't eliminate the squeaky noise. Thanks!

  1. get a new one

  2. How old is your racquet?  If it's less than a year or two old, you should take it back to where you bought it and ask them for advice.  If it's a defect with the racquet and not due to abuse, the manufacturer may replace it.  Though it's easiest to go through a retailer and ask if they can get it replaced instead of going straight to Dunlop since the retailers tend to have experience with these kinds of problems.

  3. if the crack is small, fill it with something, like a slit of paper or something

then tape it really tightly and then put ur grip on

  4. Aloha!

    Sure!

A cracked tennis racquet handle is easily 'fixed' but it's merely a matter of time to stop

~filling the crack with superglue & re-wrapping it...

sooner or later it's gonna be somethin like

    ~re-stringin or

    ~unrepairable breakage.

If tennis is important to you, merely 'treat' yersef to a nice NEW toy!

Note:  'Bent Coat Hanger Repair Kits' haven't really taken off in the markets, either!

  5. you can take off the grip and fix it with epoxy and duct tape and then put on a new grip (not an overgrip because it will be uncomfortable

  6. duck tape it realllyyyy tight and its good as new

    it works every time

  7. buy a new one. one of the times you go to hit, its just going to snap right off and you're going to be left staring at two pieces of a tennis racquet and a lost point. just a suggestion.

  8. There's more than just a noise problem if the handle is cracked.  If it's cracked enough to make noise, it's broken, and you should stop using that racquet.  If you keep using it, it's just a matter of time before it completely breaks while you are using it.  That can be dangerous.

You need to contact either Dunlop or the store where you bought it..  They should replace the racquet for free.  I've known a guy who bought two racquets and the handles broke after he had them for just two months. He contacted the company and got his money back from them.

  9. superglue, then some tape. You can talk to whoever strings your rackets about it.

  10. Duck tape

  11. I have had the bottom of my head racket fall off before. I just used some gorilla glue. It works amazing. Dries just over night and since then, hasn't come loose! Hope this helps...[:
