How do you fix a tv if the cord was yanked from the back

it worked at first but i moved the cord and the picture went out.... i did watever i can think of to push it back in the hole because the skrew thang is gone too all there is is a hole....help its a big TV!!!!

  1. Check the wire,maybe there is something wrong with it.


  2. Not sure. But I don't think you should take the TV apart. They store enough electricity in them to kill you days after they have been unplugged.  You have to know what your doing back there so I would recommend not taking it apart yourself.

  4. Sounds like you ripped out the rf-fitting from the tv tuner. Try using  one of your aux inputs via video and sound patch cables from a video source such as a vcr or cable box.
