How do you fix a water line on the bottom freezer side of a fridge that goes into the water dispenser?

We were moving it and scraped the hose that goes into the freezer door to the water dispenser. It has a small leak now and we can't dispense water cause there is no pressure. I can't figure out how to get to the hose inside the door so I can replace it. It is an LG side by side. There are no screws anywhere to remove the actual water dispenser to get to the hose.

  1. you need to disassemble the entire door, if you look under the door gasket, you will find screws...

  2. Even money the screws holding the door together are under the door gasket.  Roll it back and take a look.

But you really, really, really need information specific to your refrigerator.  These things are put together in ingenious ways, sometimes very difficult to figure out (as you've found).

Best bet: go to the manufacturer's site and search for your model number.  The model number is probably on a metal plate behind the air grille on the bottom, or sometimes it's simply inside the fridge in the cooled space.  Or, rarely these days, on the back of the unit.

Hopefully, the manufacturer has the service manual for your unit online.  It should have what's called an "illustrated parts breakdown" that will show you what's in there, and good luck.

PS:  Don't approach this lightly, keep track of the small parts.
