  1. shut off the water and try taking apart the faucet and changing the rubber rings, but to be honest with you if it`s not an expensive one. i`d buy a new one and just change it, sometimes trying to fix the old ones drives you more nuts than the leak. good luck

  2. shut the water off and disconnect the faucet  if  it is not corroded to the sink or lines. this way you can take the whole thing to the store so the right repair parts can be located. it is normally a seal somewhere that wears out.

If the faucet looks like too much to take off be sure to write down or take pic of where the parts go that you take off! Repair parts are pretty cheap note the type of faucet name and happy hunting

  3. You need to change the rubber washer inside.

  4. assuming it is dripping from around the drain; loosen the nut holding the drain in place.  Lift the drain a little and place a new bead of plumbers putty under the lip of the drain where the drain contacts the sink and then retighten the nut that holds the drain in place.

  5. take the handle part off and tighten the s***w thats on top of the k**b

  6. It depends where its leaking from. Im assuming it keeps dripping even after you cut it off. It depends on if it is a single handle or two handle faucet. If it is a two handle faucet it has two stems that can be removed by popping off the caps on top of the handles which will reveal a s***w. Remove the s***w then pull up on the handle. If it is an old faucet it is sometimes hard to break it loose but you can pry gently up on it with a screwdriver.  After the handle is removed you will be looking at the stem. make sure the cutoff valves are off under the sink before proceeding then remove the nut at the base of   the stem. This will free the stem. Pull stem out. Sometimes you can replace the rubber ring or rings on the stem or stems but sometimes you need to replace the entire stem. Check prices on stems because sometimes it would be cheaper to buy a new faucet.  If it is a single handle faucet there are sometimes rubber cups and springs that need to be replaced.
