How do you fix the brakes lights and blinkers when all bulbs are good?

i have had this fixed once before and it has happened again im trying to figure out whats wrong but im gettin no where

  1. You might also try replacing the pigtails. I had to do that. I started with bulbs, then fuses, and the flasher, then replaced the pigtails (wiring harness for the bulbs). Now they work fine.


  2. Start with the fuses and work your way through all the switches and wiring till you find the problem. It's probably a bad ground, but, it could be anywhere in the system.

  3. I need more info on what exactly is going wrong. Are they not turning on at all or are they staying on? If all the bulbs are good you might want to check the fuses. If those are good then check the wiring to the bulbs but I would start with the wiring at teh fuse box. It probly is a bad Ground or it could be a bad power supply. How old is the car? You can take it to your local auto electricion and it shouldn't be no more then $50 to diagnose and repair. Good luck.  

  4. ...bad earth....find the earth on the light cluster and patch a wire from there to the body..
