wrap your 360 up in some towels and turn it on. Wait like 5 minutes turn in off and wait for it to cool down. Then try playing it again. If that doesnt work then you have to call Microsoft.

Yes you can call Microsoft customer support but there is a way you can use it for a short while as you wait.

Unplug the hard drive and all wires etc, but leave in the power one. Wrap your console in towels so no air can get to it, then leave the console turned on for about 20 minutes. Turn off the console, put all wires and hard drive back on as usual and it should work for about two or three hours.

fill out the repair request sheet at xbox.com. they will then send you a box to ship the xbox back to them in. they will then try to fix it. if they cant they will send you a new xbox. plus a free month of xbox live.
