  1. firstly attend anger management. punching holes in walls can be an expensive habit. if you want it to look good find a plasterer. you can patch it yourself with paper and pollifiller but it will never be properly flat no matter how many times you sand it. you can get the stuff you need in any good DIY shop. the staff should help you.

  2. While the patch kits suggested will work, they have the drawback of all standing above the level of the wall, leaving a telltale "bump".  In addition, they are fractions of an inch/millimeter thick, leaving a weak spot that can be easily damaged.

For my money, the best way to fix a hole in a drywall wall is to:

    a) trim around the hole to leave firm, unfractured wall board surrounding the opening.

    b) get a board slightly narrower and about 6" longer than the remaining hole in the wall.

    c) get a half dozen 1.5" drywall screws

    d) s***w one (or two) of the screws to the middle of the board

    e) holding the drywall s***w, insert board into hole, working the board so it is flush with the BACK of the wall board and blocking the hole.

    f) use remaining drywall screws to s***w through the face of the wall board and into the board behind, securing it to the back of the wall board.

    g) now take a piece of wall board of the same thickness and roughly same shape as the hole and s***w it to the board blocking the hole in the wall

    h) use plaster / joint compound to fill gap between old and new drywall

    g) sand, repeat, paint.

  3. Do what the others said with the repair kit.  Use several very thin coats of spackle (mud) instead of one thick coat.  Let it dry completely between coats.  Be very glad you didn't hit a part of the wall over a stud or you'd be doing this with one hand while the other one was in a cast.

  4. Hang a picture of an angry child over it.

  5. go to Home Depot they have a kit for that. It is a fine screen that you place over the hole, then you put a spackle over the top of the screen.  After it dries, you sandpaper the area smooth so it it flush with the wall, then paint over it.  It is very easy and quick, also inexpensive.  Then, look into anger management.

  6. the best way to fix a hole in the wall is to go to a hardware store or home improvement store and buy a repair kit

the kit has a self adhesive metal screen, spackle and a knife

1 apply the screen to the wall

    2 apply the spackle

    3 let dry

4 sand to a smooth finish

    5 reapply if necceessary

    6 prime and paint
