How do you fly in a dream?

I was having a conversationg with my mom about how we fly in our dreams, and apparently we share the same (recurring) dream. We both fly using a towel wrapped around our shoulders, and I can only fly once a day. If I touch the ground, I can't fly anymore that day. Do you have a weird flying dream?

  1. Flying in dreams is usually a symbol for freedom.

When you feel stressed in real life your dream will usually consist of "grounded" situation. But when you are happy and stress-free you will mostly dream about flying.

The towel that keeps you flying is a symbol of your fears and boundaries. It's the thing in life that keeps you bound to reality like responsibilities, relationship, and job.

In your dreams don’t let that towel limit you. If you should dream about flying, try to take off that towel.  You can do this by telling yourself to remove the towel before falling asleep.

Learn to control this flying part of your dream. It’s wonderful and liberating. Fly as often and as many times as you want. There is no limit to the worlds to can see.

    As for me:

In my dreams when I fly, I fly by extending out my arms like a bird. But I don't flap; I just glide where ever the wind takes me. To steer myself, I lean to the left or right. To go higher or lower I tilt my palm up or down like an airplane wing flap.

I've flown over real places like the pyramids of Giza and in fantastic places like outer space.

    Good Luck.
