How do you force yourself to get up in the morning?

If you have to get up early, what's the best way to get yourself out of bed? I have a hard time getting up when my alarm goes off, usually hitting snooze a couple of times. Any tips on getting up on time/earlier are welcome!

  1. put your alarm clock across the room away from your bed so you cant just fall back on your bed when you get up to turn the alarm clock off. when you get up to turn it off that will wake you up

  4. Go through the reasons why you have to get up even if they are unpleasant. Then think of the consequences if you don't get up on time and do what you have to do and maybe a nice trip to starbucks or tea will cheer you up.

  5. u can buy those really loud clocks and dont put them by you so that when you get annoyed, youll get up and if you still go back to sleep, try putting a cup of water by your bed and just wet your eyes. good luck

  6. Put the alarm clock alllllllllll the way across the room. Then, when it goes off, you have to go across the room to turn it off and the short walk will wake you up!

  7. The best tip would be to go to sleep earlier!

    Also you could higher the volume on the alarm if its a radio one, or have a really c**p radio station set on it so you have to get up to turn it off. You could set your alarm for about 10minutes earlier than before and this way you will feel like you're getting your lie in, that's a good one!

    Then again...you might not be a morning person.

Well make sure to get to bed earlier.  You might be up late at night thinking man I'm not tired now...but you will be in the morning.  What I would do is put the alarm clock/ cell phone across the room on a desk and when it goes off you will have to get up to turn it off. Its really going to be annoying but thats the most effective way to get up.

  11. You need to have something that you need and want to do for yourself that you only have time to do if you get up early. It could be an exercise routine that you enjoy, a radio or TV program, or even just taking the time to make yourself freshly squeezed orange juice or perhaps a pot of coffee made from freshly ground beans that you enjoy.

    Those are all great motivations that you look forward to.  To get out of bed easily, you need to have something to do that you enjoy and look forward to doing.
