How do you forward calls from land phone to a cell phone

First, you have to have the feature available on your land line.  If you have it, check the front of your phone book-they often have instructions on how to use the various features.

I know that with my service, I dial *72 from my land line and then the number I want the forward to go to (my cell).  My cell rings, and I answer it and the forwarding is then on.  To cancel it, I dial *73 from my home phone

The procedure varies from company to company, though.
