How do you freak dance?

I am a girl and in this style of dance i know the girl is supposed to lead. What exactly does it mean to lead? Also the guy puts his hands kinda on your hips/lower hips..what should i do with my hands while hes doing this>? Please help I cannot dance..

  1. put your hands out in the air or over his head.. if he gets a bonner you did the right thing
