How do you gain access to the rear speakers in an '01 taurus?

I'm trying to replace the speakers in my '01 taurus but i have no idea how to reach the top side to unscrew the stock ones. i kno there is someway to remove that plastic above it but i just cant figure it out.

You will need to remove the rear seat bottom and then the seat back. You can then remove the rear shelf cover.
