How do you gain experience for a job (namely as a psych techinician) if no one will hire you w/o experience?

Im a college grad looking to get into the psychology field. I've applied at many hospitals for a psych/behavioral technician, yet Im not getting called back as most jobs require 1 yr experience as a technician. How do you GAIN experience if you cant ge hired anywhere?

I understand what you are going through.  It's really hard to get that first job.  If you can get to volunteer to a related job, that would probably be your stepping stone.  Or you can get a non related job in a hospital then as soon as a position opens up for a Psych Tech, you can apply asap and you will have an edge already since you are an employee of the hospital.
