Score points by answering questions and getting best answers.

Answer 3

You score points by answering questions (2), getting chosen best answer (10), and voting for a best answer (1).  If you ask a question (which costs you 5 points) and then choose a best answer for that question, you get 3 points for choosing the best answer.
