Question:

How do you gain weight when all you can do is loose it?

I weigh 110lbs. and I want to weigh 130lbs. and I eat everything in sight and eat all day and I just keep loosing weight.It drives me crazy. I have given birth to two kids and I lost all my baby weight plus some. Any one please help me I look like a stick and I hate it.

  1. If this seems like a problem you may have hyperthyroidism.This can sometimes happen when your thyroid gets a vrus. My mom had that when she was younger and the doctor gave her some medicine for it .So I would recommend going to your doctor for a checkup and get some blood work done to be certain.

  4. Eat ice cream before you go to bed, the sugar will make you sleep better but you will gain weight pretty quicly...

  5. you might want to start doing weightlifting and eating more carbohydrates, like red meat and bread, but first you should check with your Doctor to make sure your Thyroid gland is working  properly.

  6. you cant gain weight by eating a lot i know it sounds weird but you have to balance your time eating and working out also.....  in time you should gain some extra pounds.... but just eating and eating and eating a lot of junk food probobly wont work.. so good luck!

  7. I really feel for you as I have exactly the same problem. I gave birth to my daughter 6 weeks ago and within 3 weeks had lost the 2 stones I put on during pregnancy. I am about to start the high calorie diet I was on before I fell pregnant which did help me gain weight. You will need to keep a little diary of what you are eating everyday and how many calories are in it (you'll find this on the back of the packet but if it's food like fruit or anything that doesn't state how many calories it contains try this website: www.caloriecounting.co.uk, it tells you how many calories are in certain foods by portion size). Then, after a few days work out how many calories you are eating per day on average. The normal amount a woman is supposed to eat is 2000 calories a day. The idea is to try to increase your calorie intake by a further 500-1000 calories per day. It's quite hard, you'll feel pretty full and bloated for the first few days but it does get easier. Try to eat healthy foods with a high calorie content- for example, bananas, avocados, real butter, nuts, full fat milk, cheese, yoghurts etc. After a few weeks you should notice that you are starting to put on weight. Don't expect it to happen overnight or to put a lot of weight on- people like us are unfortunately meant to be thin and will never be much bigger than we already are, but even a few pounds gained can give the appearance of a fuller figure.   8. If you keep increasing your calories your weight will eventually increase. Calculate how many calories you are currently eating and keep increasing.

    Also, eat 5-6 meals a day.

  10. Along with your normal meals drink an ensure shake between each one. This is full of vitamins and it will increase your calorie intake.

  11. wow this has got to suck--do you know how many people would LOVE to have this problem?!!??!  start working out & weight training--put on some muscle & that will do that trick~

  12. since eating more makes you skinnyer maybe you should start not eating as much? worth a shot
