How do you get Clair out of the dragon's den in Pokemon crystal version?

Question

I tried to go into the Blackthorn city gym on Pokemon Crystal but someone says that Clair went in the Dragon's Den and never returned. Then there is an elderly person blocking the Dragon's Den saying that only the chosen may enter the Dragon's Den. How do I get Clair out?

You have to do the following

1. Get all 7 other gym badges

2. Beat team rocket at the radio tower
