How do you get Magmar in leafgreen?

I have heard that he is at a volcaneo but where?

He is in  One island Volcano in the grassy area inside. Search for a while and you will eventually find it. I would suggest catching a female and a male so you can breed them and get a magby to help with the national dex. Good Luck
