How do you get Ruby version pokemon into Diamond version without migrating?

Can you get them into it without migrating? Is there another way?

You actually can. If you have Wi-Fi, you can go on the GTS and search for pokemon like that AND there are some pokemon from ruby you can get already in diamond when you beat the pokemon league. AND it helps if you talk to Lucas/Dawns little sister and she tells you where some pokemon are from different games.

The best way is to use the Global Trading Station (GTS) to find that type of Pokemon, unfortunately, nobody likes to trade them. The easiest way is to migrate, but you already stated you wanted another way. The only other way besides that is whatever the Pokemon game is for the Wii, or attending a Nintendo hosted event, which they give out free Pokemon.
