I have tried scrubbing with a brush and hot soapy water, full strength floor cleaner - but I still have a sticky film on the floor where the spf 70 sunblock was sprayed.

  1. Try WD-40, spray it on and then using a papertowel or rag you can discard, rub in a circular motion.  It works well to remove sticky residues.  Goof Off will work too, but I have had it damage the surface of some older vinyl flooring in my rentals, so I now use WD-40 first because it doesn't damage the plastic element of the flooring.  You will feel the sticky transfer to  the toweling, keep spraying it and changing the portion of the rage you're using to wipe until you can no longer feel it on the flooring.  Then remove the excess WD-40 and it's oder with a little dish soap in water until the residue is removed.
